Relationship With The Master Policy
This specialist policy explains delivery, dispatch, collection, access and installation coordination. KGI-CSP-F24-3.0 remains the controlling customer-service framework and should be read with the accepted quotation, order confirmation and applicable Service Charges.
Ready For Delivery Notice
When manufacturing is complete or goods are ready, the Company may issue a Ready for Delivery Notice. The customer shall ordinarily accept scheduled delivery or collect the goods within 7 calendar days of that notice unless another period is agreed in writing.
Scheduling And Address
Delivery is scheduled subject to route, personnel, vehicle, site and installation availability. The customer shall verify the complete delivery address, contact person and access details before dispatch. A requested date or time is not confirmed until recorded by the Company.
Site Access And Customer Readiness
- Provide safe and lawful access for the delivery team and vehicle.
- Disclose stairs, lift dimensions and restrictions, loading or parking limits, building permissions and unusual handling conditions.
- Keep the delivery and installation area clear and ensure an authorised person is available.
- Arrange any civil, electrical, decorative or building work outside the accepted Company scope.
Delivery Inspection
The customer or authorised representative should inspect the visible quantity and condition at delivery and record discrepancies, transit damage or exceptions on the delivery record or through the Company contact channel as soon as reasonably possible. Concealed or covered conditions remain subject to technical assessment under the applicable policies.
Failed Delivery, Waiting And Redelivery
If delivery cannot be completed because the customer is unavailable, the address or access information is incorrect, permissions are missing, the site is unsafe or unready, or delay exceeds the scheduled allowance, the Company may suspend the attempt and reschedule it. Applicable waiting, failed-delivery, special-access and redelivery charges will be communicated or quoted for the relevant transaction.
Storage And Customer Postponement
Customer-requested postponement or failure to accept delivery after the ordinary 7-calendar-day period may result in chargeable custody or storage after notice. The Company may issue a Final Delivery / Collection Notice and retain lawful contractual and statutory remedies. Any rate must be approved, effective for the relevant period and, where accepted, recorded against the transaction; a later rate is not applied retroactively.
Installation Relationship
Delivery completion and installation completion may be recorded separately. Apparent installation workmanship conditions are to be reported within 3 calendar days from recorded installation completion. Corrective service does not automatically include complete dismantling, reinstallation, relocation, refinishing, redesign, unaffected-component replacement, civil work or complete product replacement.
